TMA Managing Committee had a meeting with EE (PNL-II) CIDCO, EE MIDC , Alibag & Officials on 03.03.2021 and 08.03.2021 at TMA Board Room to discuss about the approach road for METRO station at Pendhar, Taloja MIDC. In this regard, TMA has conducted several meetings & correspondence with CIDCO & MIDC authorities. In the said meeting EE, CIDCO informed that, the CIDCO Planning section has proposed approach road connectivity at Pendhar Metro station, Taloja MIDC at two locations which are as under:
- 15 meter wide road, this road leads to plot no A-58 & A-59.Proposed 15 meter wide road is passing through an open plot without disturbing layout of Taloja MIDC.
- 24 meter wide peripheral road which leads to plot no A-76 & A-77.
After due discussion it was decided that EE, MIDC will study the feasibility of the above connectivity and send a letter to CIDCO Planning Authority & copy to TMA.
Further, TMA will organise a joint meeting with the Planning Authority of CIDCO & MIDC for the expedition of said proposal. In the said meeting CIDCO officials informed that CBD to Pendhar, First phase will be in operation at the earliest, which is of 11 KM. Also informed that from CBD to Pendhar, each Metro station will be at the distance of one KM.
