TMA had taken initiative to support many of the migrant workers & daily wage workers who had no source of Income for their basic needs such as food due to the Industries shut down because of COVID -19 & also the subsequent appeal made by Hon’ble Prime Minister of India, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Maharashtra & the Taloja Police Station. TMA had appealed to Member Industries to contribute generously to the noble cause for the relief of people affected due to the COVID-19 epidemic. Accordingly, TMA along with the Member Industries in Taloja MIDC have contributed Rs. 5,79,73,129/- by way of the following relief :
- a) Distributed 3659 nos. of Food Grain Packets worth Rs. 26,06,624 /-wherein TMA had contributed Rs,50,000/-
- b) Contribution to the Hon’ble Prime Minister Relief Fund worth Rs. 86,28,742/- ,
- c) Contribution to the Hon’ble Chief Minister Relief Fund worth Rs. 3,57,20,743/-
- d) Four nos. of Ambulance worth Rs. 24,89,816/- was donated to Govt. of Maharashtra.
- e) Other Relief Material such as Skan Fog ULV With Timer, Mask, Ventilators, Syringe Pumps, ABG Machine, PPE Kits, RO water filter Plant, Hand Sanitizer worth Rs. 1,07,90,020/- (including Ambulance cost ).
The details of the same was forwarded to Hon’ble Prime Minister of India, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Hon’ble Industries Minister, Hon’ble Collector, Raigad, & other Govt. Authorities.
