Residential cum Commercial Construction in the “No-Development Buffer Zone” of the Industrial Area of Taloja, MIDC

It has been observed that the residential area is fast-growing near the boundaries of the Taloja MIDC Industrial area. According to the CPCB guidelines, a minimum 500-meter buffer zone should be maintained between the residential area & Industries, which is not been maintained & is in violation of CPCB guidelines.

Due to this, many issues/complaints will be raised by the inhabitants against the industries which will be detrimental to the functioning & the growth of the industrial development.

Considering all the above facts, TMA has filed a case before the Hon’ble Bombay High Court for no Buffer Zone maintained at the Taloja MIDC Industrial area. In this regard, a judgment has been passed by the Hon’ble Ahmedabad High Court for no residential development within the buffer zone area.
